Maddie O’Hanlon, MS
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Naperville, Teletherapy
Everyone deserves a safe and supportive space to be their authentic self and begin healing. I believe therapy is a way to discover your own strengths and create meaningful changes that lead to a healthier, happier life.
As a compassionate and empathetic counselor, I’m here to support you through challenges that may feel heavy or overwhelming. My style is warm yet direct. I will walk alongside you, gently encouraging new perspectives as you navigate difficult situations and relationships. Together, we’ll build strategies and skills that make life’s stressors more manageable.
I draw on a variety of approaches tailored to each client’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused techniques. My experience includes working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use or addiction, and personality disorders.
I work with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families, and I have a particular interest in supporting clients through life transitions—whether starting a new career or school, adjusting to parenthood, moving through a breakup, or navigating other major changes. I support clients with anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, including Autism and ADHD, obsessive compulsive disorder, communication challenges, relationship issues, and more. Whatever you’re facing, we’ll work together to help you move forward with hope and confidence.
